Traffix | New signs are out of this world
Leading traffic and event management company Traffix takes great pride in the commitment their business makes towards a more sustainable environment.
The company utilises or hires out quality, efficient products, delivered in a safe manner, ensuring that future generations benefit from a cleaner environment. In line with these credentials, Traffix has recently taken delivery of four 19mm solar-powered lift and rotate signs.
Perfect for A and B roads as well as all types of events, these solar signs are equipped with an easy web-based message management system, which can display up to nine lines of text and thirty characters per line on each page.
Free from noise, waste or pollution, the new sustainable signs are able to withstand 80mph wind conditions and as a result are Highways Agency Type Approved under TR2516B, TOPAS registered and DVSA Individual Vehicle Trailer Approved.
Purchasing these signs represented a significant capital outlay for Traffix, therefore the company made an application to Birmingham City Council’s business innovation programme for financial assistance. The subsequent grant that was awarded helped greatly towards securing this important initiative for Traffix and their clients.
Traffix Commercial Director, Stuart Morrissey, commented:
“Yet again we are demonstrating our industry-leading credentials with the introduction of these state-of-the-art signs. Additionally, the qualifying criteria for the BCC grant included the creation of permanent positions. Based on the funds we received we are delighted to be in the position of creating three new jobs as a result.”
