CountyClean Group | New Film Showcases Raising Over £1,800 for Specialist Hospice
For over a decade, CountyClean Group, one of the South Easts’ fastest growing environmental support services company, has been delivering commercial and household liquid waste management solutions across London and the South East.
Founded in May 2007 by husband and wife team, Mike and Debbie Walker, with one tanker and portable offices, the business has maintained exponential growth year on year, and now operates from multiple locations across Sussex and Surrey with around 50 staff and a commercial fleet of 20+ top of the range and specialist vehicles that include 6,000 and 4,000 gallon tankers, 2,000 gallon combi Krolls, and unique road sweepers, all of which have a very low carbon footprint and clean emissions as they are all equipped with Euro 6 engines.
“Our purpose is to provide the highest quality liquid waste management solutions across the utility, commercial, industrial, marine, construction, automotive, logistics and residential sectors with such exceptional service that we become the first choice for all customers.” Mike Walker, Director.
With this in mind, the company launched its showcase film on the 15th February 2018 at a Hollywood style fundraising film premiere. Over 120 guests enjoyed exclusive media entertainment in cultural surroundings at The Birley Centre in Eastbourne with a sparkling reception and raised £940 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice that the company matched, meaning that the total amount donated is £1,880.
Speaking about the filming project, CountyClean Group founders Mike and Debbie said, “we are so proud and absolutely thrilled with the finished film and wish to commend everyone involved on their professionalism and hard work to produce it, which we believe showcases our capabilities and customer service ethos. We are extremely grateful to our wonderful teams for being such stars and wish to give the Smokescreen team a five star rating!”
You can see what happened on the night in this short event video by Sussex Downs College students:
Rounding up the event, Daniel Hough from Channel 4 said,
“What CountyClean has achieved here tonight will surely inspire local business communities to follow their lead in showcasing their capabilities through the medium of film. May I also say that the organisation that has gone into the event is top class and a triumph for the group as it reflects their customer service led ethos. I look forward to discussing how we may collaborate to get CountyClean’s cinematic style footage onto screens at home soon.”
A special cheque presentation event was arranged at the company’s HQ after the film launch with one of the CountyClean Group road sweepers outside.

Darren Maylam of St Wilfrid’s Hospice had this feedback to share,
“Thank you again for the opportunity, it was a great evening, really nice to meet so many people and very well organised! £1,880 is an incredible amount, thank you so much to Mike and Debbie for match funding the amount raised on the night. We couldn’t continue without the support of companies in the community like yours.”
In addition to showcasing the company’s supreme service delivery and sophisticated industry knowledge, the premise of the film is to demonstrate what CountyClean Group clients benefit from, as Louis Dimmock, Commercial Director explains:
“For instance, our road sweeper division works for homeowners with private driveways, facilities managers of shopping centres, car park operators and Highways agencies on all types of thoroughfares, including tunnels. Our water jetting and liquid waste removal services are always on hand to keep networks open at emergency spills and floods, and we regularly work for public emergency services to help with road traffic accidents as and when required.
We are a partner of choice to a number of construction and highways maintenance project managers whose portable toilets need emptying or hazardous liquid waste needs disposing of in the correct way, and our CCTV mainline rigs support managers to maintain clear pipelines. Furthermore, when our deep suction Kroll Recycling units and high pressure jetting teams remove sludge, drilling muds, bentonite and clear debris from drains, pits and culverts, we help keep workforces proactive whilst preventing flooding and environmental damage.
To sum it up, CountyClean Group can professionally deal with all sorts of liquid waste requirements and no job is too big for us.”
Based on customer feedback and market opportunities, Mike and Debbie continuously invest in their business, whilst experienced operatives are fully trained and qualified to handle domestic, commercial and industrial waste types. All operations, project bookings and emergency response works are organised from the company’s 4,412 sq ft HQ whilst commercial vehicles run from the 14,301 sq ft commercial fleet logistics unit in Eastbourne and the 9,074 sq ft waste recycling facility at Felbridge, near Gatwick Airport.
CountyClean Group is an accredited UK Spill Contractor and Alcumus SafeContractor approved, and is also certified by Achilles, Constructionline, FORS, CHAS, ISO, OHSAS, CLOCS and NAPIT.
